CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate harmonises Church Farm Cottage with the landscape in Hampshire

CUPA 12 natural slate

CUPA PIZARRAS covers Church Farm Cottage located in the beautiful rural village of Privett near Petersfield in Hampshire (UK).

Our CUPA 12 natural slate was specified for the sympathetic roofing restoration and extension because they needed that all materials used on the project harmonised with the surrounding area.

CUPA 12 NATURAL SLATE, A POPULAR CHOICE

CUPA 12 natural slate

CUPA 12 natural slate is a grey slate with a smooth matt surface. Split to an average thickness of 4 and 6 mm, it is noted for its exceptional consistency and surface appearance.

These qualities have made it a popular choice for large commercial projects, as well as larger-scale residential developments. Our natural slate is specified for projects within conservation areas, national parks and  heritage sites. It is regularly specified as an acceptable alternative to locally quarried slate due to its comparable composition and quality.

NIGEL LAND: "CUPA PIZARRAS SUPPLIED A SUPERB SLATE"

CUPA 12 natural slateCommenting on the project Nigel Land, Skyline Roofing said, “I have worked in the roofing industry for 30 years. CUPA PIZARRAS supplied a superb slate, which I was very impressed with and my roof tilers are very happy to work with. The owners of Church Farm Cottage are delighted with their new roof and we used CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate on another building project in the same village.”

The existing front roof slope of the cottage, built in the 18th century, remained and an extension to double the size of the house was built on the rear using CUPA 12 natural slate.
