CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate, the perfect choice as the roofing material for Castle Business Park
CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate has been specified for Castle Business Park, a high quality, modern office space located on the outskirts of Stirling (United Kingdom).
The buildings lie in the shadow of one of Scotland’s most historic castles that dates back to the 15th century. As a consequence, it was particularly important to the planning authorities that the roofing material specified be sympathetic to the surrounding area.
Our CUPA Heavy 3 natural slate close likeness to the look and feel of traditional Scottish Ballachulish slate made it the perfect choice as a roofing material for this project.
CUPA 3 is a blue-black slate with a riven surface, which contains non-rusting metallic particles giving it a distinctive natural colour, texture and grain.
The Heavy variant is split to a thickness of 8-10mm and is exceptionally durable and virtually maintenance free.
The natural slate roofs are uncluttered and simple in form, unifying the two-storey offices.
Castle Business Park provides amidst 28 acres of attractive landscape ground. Government agencies based on the Park include Scottish Environmental Protection Agency, Scottish Further Education Unit, Forth Valley Board and The Crown Prosecutio.
Stirling is located in the heart of central Scotland, providing excellent access to Scotland’s main cities and other provincial centres.
