CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate ensures a high quality traditional look in Cramond Gate

CUPA 3 Heavy

CUPA PIZARRAS natural slate was chosen for Cramond Gate development (Edinburgh, UK), a high quality contemporary living in a traditional setting.

Our CUPA Heavy 3 blended in with the surrounding buildings that used the indigenous Ballachulish slate as a roofing product.

CUPA 3 HeavyCUPA 3 is a blue-black slate with a riven surface, which contains non-rusting metallic particles giving it a distinctive natural colour, texture and grain.

The Heavy variant is split to a thickness of 8-10mm and is exceptionally durable and virtually maintenance free.

CUPA Heavy 3 is ideal for the scottish and irish markets to its close similarity to the traditional highland slate from Ballachulish that is no longer produced.

Cramond is a traditional village comprising of cottages and shops all built with conventional materials. This much sought after suburb of Edinburgh combines a village atmosphere with walks on the shoreline and along the River Almond.

CUPA Heavy 3 ensures that a high quality traditional look will stand the test of time no matter what the climate throws at it.
