1. Organizer of the Contest

This contest is organized by Cupa Pizarras, S.A.U. (hereinafter “Cupa Pizarras”), with Tax Identification Number (C.I.F.) A32225427 and registered office at A Medua, s/n, 32330, Carballeda de Valdeorras, Ourense, Spain.

2. Purpose of the Promotion

These legal terms and conditions are intended to define the rules governing the “Best of the Best” contest organized by Cupa Pizarras through the Cupa Pizarras website (hereinafter, the “Contest”).

Participation in this Contest is free of charge and implies full and unconditional acceptance of these legal terms and conditions.

3. Scope and Duration

The Contest has an international scope.

The participation period will begin on September 11, 2025, and will end on November 30, 2025.

Entries received after November 30, 2025, will not be accepted.

4. Conditions for Participation

To participate, entrants must submit a video in which natural slate supplied by Cupa Pizarras plays a central role.

Creativity, originality, and execution quality will be evaluated by the jury, so participants are encouraged to use their imagination and demonstrate technical or artistic skills.

Videos may be recorded in either horizontal or vertical format and may feature ongoing or completed projects or any other presentation, as long as there is a clear and direct link to Cupa Pizarras’ natural slate.

Videos are recommended to be between 45 seconds and 2 minutes long.

There are no restrictions on video perspectives (aerial, ground-level, etc.), leaving participants full freedom to represent the product as they wish.

Employees of Cupa Pizarras are not eligible to participate.

Cupa Pizarras will automatically and immediately exclude any participant who violates good faith, behaves inappropriately or dishonestly, uses fraudulent or abusive means, or breaches any part of these terms.

Cupa Pizarras reserves the right to unilaterally modify the Contest conditions or suspend it in the event of force majeure or any other justified reason.

5. Prize

All participants will receive a free welcome pack sent by Cupa Pizarras, which will include a promotional gift. This gift cannot be exchanged or converted into cash.

The winning participant (hereinafter, the “Winner”) will receive a trip to Spain, including a guided visit to Cupa Pizarras’ natural slate quarries located in A Medua (Ourense). The activity will be limited to six (6) people, chosen by the Winner. Travel, accommodation, and planned activity expenses for the group will be covered by Cupa Pizarras under the conditions specified to the Winner once the prize is awarded.

The Winner will also receive a commemorative trophy recognizing them as the “Best Natural Slate Roofer,” as decided by the professional jury. This recognition is symbolic and has no monetary value.

Additionally, the prize includes VIP box access at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium for a maximum of three (3) people chosen by the Winner, to attend the official match between Real Madrid C.F. and Deportivo Alavés S.A.D., scheduled for April 22, 2025.

The prize is personal and non-transferable. It cannot be exchanged for its cash value or substituted for another good or service.

Cupa Pizarras reserves the right to modify or replace any part of the prize for justified reasons, ensuring its overall value is not reduced.

Anything not expressly mentioned in these terms is excluded from the prize.

6. Contest Mechanics

First voting round: A public voting phase will be held on the Cupa Pizarras blog using the WP-POLLS application.

Cupa Pizarras commits to conducting the Contest transparently, objectively, and fairly, ensuring that the voting process is free from manipulation or interference.

Second voting round: A professional jury composed of six international judges will evaluate the selected videos. Each judge will assign points according to the following scale:

• 5 points
• 3 points
• 1 point

The video with the highest total score after summing all votes will be declared the Winner.

7. Determination of the Winner

The first voting round will take place from December 2 to December 4, 2025. The professional jury will then carry out their evaluation in the following days.

The Winner will be announced by Cupa Pizarras via email, on its corporate website, social media, or any other channel it deems appropriate, on December 16, 2025, following the jury’s decision.

8. Acceptance and Modification of the Legal Terms

Participation implies full acceptance of these terms by the participants.

Cupa Pizarras reserves the right to unilaterally modify these terms and commits to announcing such modifications through the same channel where they were initially published.

9. Communication and Use of Image

Participants expressly authorize Cupa Pizarras to publicly announce the results of the Contest through email, the corporate website, social media, or any other communication channel it deems appropriate.

Participants also authorize Cupa Pizarras to use, reproduce, and distribute images and/or videos of the winning projects and the award ceremony for promotional, informational, and corporate communication purposes, without entitlement to any financial compensation.

10. Data Protection – Right to Information

The personal data provided by participants will be processed solely for managing participation, running the Contest, and, where applicable, delivering the prize, in strict compliance with data protection regulations.

Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection, or withdraw consent, by contacting Cupa Pizarras via email at es@cupapizarras.com.

11. Governing Law

These legal terms are governed by Spanish law.

Any disputes arising in connection with these terms will be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Ponferrada (Spain).
