Our innovative roofing system for real slate is evolving to make life easier for everyone across the US. With newly enhanced features and redesigned packaging, Readyslate combines its trusted durability with greater convenience and on-site efficiency.

The new design is shorter and lighter, made up of four pieces of natural slate, making the panels easier to grab and handle. Additionally, the new HDPE backer is lighter, safer, and cleaner to work with, even in extreme heat.

The new gasket is larger, and both the side and back laps have been increased for improved performance. All measurements are now provided in imperial units, including exposed face and overall width.

And the news doesn’t stop there! Readyslate’s packaging has also been redesigned to make handling, storage, and installation easier than ever.

The new bundle is shorter (38″ x 14″ x 1.5″) and lighter (44 lbs), making it safer to lift and carry while helping reduce installation time.

The packaging is also designed to minimize on-site waste, and each bundle is wrapped in plastic to provide extra protection before installation, ensuring the slate arrives in perfect condition and ready to use.

These updates mean roofers can work faster and more safely, with less fatigue and fewer trips up the ladder. Handling lighter panels and bundles reduces the risk of injury while making installation more efficient, saving time on every roof.
